Friendship Lake is located in Adams County, Central Wisconsin just outside Friendship Village & City of Adams to the north. Itâs formed by both Little Roche-A-Cri Creek and Fordham Creek which are controlled by the Friendship Dam right next to the public beach and boat launch. Below the dam is Friendship Park where the water turns into a trout stream called Little Roche-A-Cri Creek that flows all the way into Wisconsinâs 4th largest body of water, Castle Rock Lake. The Park offers volleyball courts, picnic tables, grills, family pavilion, playground equipment including; swings, marry-go-round and slides. Itâs overlooked by Friendship Mound (privately owned) rising about 350 ft high and offering amazing 15+ mile views. Friendship Lake also offers fine fishing for Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike and a variety of Panfish plus waterskiing is allowed.
Friendship Park is in Friendship Village just below the Hydroelectric Dam that regulates the water levels for Friendship Lake which is fed by both Fordham Creek and Little Roche A Cri Creek. After the hydro dam is a small pooling area the water is held before is turns back into Little Roche-A-Cri Creek trout stream. Thereâs a newer arched walking bridge that suspends over the creek giving access from one side of Friendship Park to the other just north of the winter sledding hill. Roche-A-Cri State Park

Roche-A-Cri State Park established in 1948 is 605 acres of woods and has many different recreational activities from sight-seeing to hiking 303 steps up Roche-A-Cri Mound. Several rest areas offer different settings where you can enjoy a nice picnic. There are 45 rustic campsites available and the park even offers campfire wood for your convenience. If you wish to climb the hill, there is a 300 foot stairway that includes resting places along the way. During your journey, you will find areas that tell the history of the hill. At the top is a platform that will allow you to see 10 different counties, many fine fishing lakes, Friendship Mound, and plenty of other unique places for discovery. Like to fish? Carter Creek runs right through the park, giving you the true essence of what Central Wisconsin has to offer. Roche-A-Cri Mound is part of Roche-A-Cri State Park and is the steepest hill in the State of Wisconsin according to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WI DNR). This Adams County Mound was formed by ice and water from the diminishing glaciers of Old Lake Wisconsin during the last Ice Age. Ancient Native American rock art known as glyphs, petroglyphs, pictographs and hieroglyphs of where found at the base of Roche-A-Cri Mound as early as the mid 1800's. Like any natural and man-made attraction both the natural elements (erosion, water and wind) and accidental damage from visitors takes its toll over time. Because of the concern of climbers' safety back in the 1970's the mound became off limits to visitors. So, to utilize this natural attraction the State of Wisconsin in the early to mid 1990's added a stairway of 303 steps from the basis of the mound all the way to the flat top on the north edge where an observation deck was placed offering a great view of the area. From this view point, you can see for miles and observe several other Wisconsin Rock Formations in the area including Rabbit Rock, Minnie Rock, Ship Rock, Cottonville Rock, Dorro Couche Mound (aka Dyracuse Mound), Necedah Mound and Petenwell Rock. City of Adams
Adams, Wisconsin is located in the Township of Adams in Adams County on State Highway 13 right between Wisconsin Rapids and Wisconsin Dells. Itâs considered a city and it has the area high school, middle little school, elementary school, banks, corporate sector, railroad, flea market, and farming infrastructure for the area. Along Main Street there are a variety of small businesses and also some larger chain stores plus local Shopping District, School Systems, Government Offices, DNR Post, Banks, shopping complex, and the Industrial Park for the whole area as well as some residential communities. Just south of the City of Adams is County Road F that leads to Castle Rock Lake, Wisconsinâs 4th largest inland body of water. It is one of the major attractions for the Adams area.

Friendship, Wisconsin is located near the Township of Adams in Adams County on State Highway 13 right between Wisconsin Rapids and Wisconsin Dells. Itâs considered a village.
